There is a very simple way to stay on your current version without the upgrade being forced on you. We are constantly getting calls from users that have just unknowingly been pushed to Windows 10, and either run into issues or simply want to go back to their old version.
There is a great free utility called Never 10 that will stop the update from happening. You can run a tiny program that will simply block the upgrade from being forced on your PC. It will not disable anything important on your system or modify anything else on your system. If you decide in the future that you would like your system to be upgraded to Windows 10, you simply run this program again, and “Enable” the Win 10 Upgrade. There is no installation needed, and the file is trustworthy.
