E Fun – a California tablet maker has just released a sneak peek at it’s newest “Nextbook” – a 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 tablet. It is better on the wallet then netbooks were – with the same great battery life and portability.

E Fun worked closely with Microsoft and Intel on the creation of this new product, and the price tag on it is amazing. This 10.1 inch tablet is priced at $179. It includes a detachable keyboard and a year of  free Office 365 Personal with 20 GB of OneDrive cloud storage. It will be available in November 2014 at Wal-Mart. Preorders start at walmart.com on October 23.

Technical specs put the tablet in the same market as netbooks – not a great work computer or word tablet replacement – but great for personal use, traveling, and web browsing.
